I was raised in Auckland, New Zealand in a Christian home where I made an early profession of faith. My tertiary education was completed at Lincoln University in NZ (B.Ag.Com), Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div and D.Min) and Covenant Theological Seminary (ThM) in the USA.
From 1984 until the present I have been church planting and pastoring in the South Auckland area, teaching at Grace Theological College in the area of counselling, hermeneutics and preaching, and working as a counsellor and conciliator with mainly church and family disputes. In 2006 I was certified as a Christian Conciliator with the Institute of Christian Conciliation (USA). I am married to Margaret and we have three adult children and two grandchildren. My hobbies include going to the movies with Margaret and fishing with my son-in-law.
