Academic Partnerships

Christ College (Sydney) was established in 1873 to train Presbyterian ministers.
In 2019 Christ College launched a new campus for New Zealand, based in Auckland. This campus will allow New Zealand citizens to study in-person via intensive mode towards an Australian College of Theology (ACT) award. GTC is pleased to facilitate these classes by making our property and resources available for the visiting lecturers from Australia, teaching their week long intensive blocks.

Since inception of Grace Theological College in 1995, we have had the opportunity to help our students cross credit into BTS' undergraduate study in order for them to complete a higher level of qualification.

BTS is accredited by the Association of Reformed Theological Schools (ARTS). ARTS has also newly gained accreditation with the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation (CHEA).

If you wish to deal directly with BTS, you can start your journey here.

With a thriving Counselling program here at GTC, we sought to help those who were seeking a stronger academic basis, either in their work as a counsellor or simply to be a better friend in their church or community.
Helping students to be able to study and gain a deeper understanding, adding to past education or adding new biblical based counselling education, pushed us to further develop our 1 and 2 year counselling certificates.

GTC is proud to have a relationship with the NZBCA.
